After the Ten of Hearts Cut, we now have a delightful Ten Points in our Hand, and (so far) all "bricks" ('even' cards) in our Crib, with a Cinder Block for a Cut Card and a "Two-by-Four" as a discard. Let's Toss (2 4) today, as it allows us to begin with Four Points in our Hand, and maybe generate a bit of 'Pin Action' excitement in our Crib. The score tells me to refrain from the "Low Energy" Toss (2 8), and also to avoid the speculative Toss (J Q) at this position, which tends to derive its healthy average with some great outcomes, along with its fair share of duds. We have such a good lead, yet we are Three Points 'shy' of the Third Street Par Hole 70, so this calls for a 'steady hand,' if such can be found. Toss (J Q) is worth nearly Five Points in our Crib, and yet a discard such as Toss (2 8) 'chimes in' at closer to 3.5 Points, and yet Toss (2 4) is nearly worth 4.5 Points, so it may be a viable alternative.
